KAIROS D110:
'The right or opportune time for taking action’

In Ancient Greek, the name of this Corris Grey D110 means ‘the right or opportune time for taking action’. It has been chosen by its designer Mr Taylor, who grew up in Wiltshire just 40 miles away from Arkonik HQ. Mr Taylor moved to California in the 80’s but has always retained his love for the Defender and links to the UK, so getting to design his own iconic British vehicle that fuses his current urban living style with English countryside roots was a perfect match.

For this owner, having a Defender means making time for road trips with family and friends. KAIROS will be used to explore national parks and West Coast trails, as well as transporting all the gear required for sailing and skiing trips.

I was especially pleased to see they are based in the UK and was incredibly impressed with the ground-up rebuild process.

“For the past few years, I’ve been looking to buy a vehicle with enough seats to carry visiting family members, enough load space for recreational use and the versatility to allow off-road use. After deciding a Defender 110 was the vehicle for me, I did more online research and found Arkonik. I was especially pleased to see they are based in the UK and arranged my first visit during a UK trip. I was incredibly impressed with the ground-up rebuild process, the level of passion demonstrated across the entire team and the range of options to personalize the vehicle.”
