An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join Arkonik HQ. We are looking for a motivated person with a strong financial background to fit into our small but very busy Commercial and HR department. The role will be varied and would suit a diligent and enthusiastic individual. This is a permanent role with a competitive salary, pension plus 28 days holiday.
Key responsibilities
- Issuing of invoices to clients and collection of monies
- Income analysis and forecasting
- Liaising with our US division re. cashflow
- Dealing with incoming donor vehicles and associated paperwork
- Assisting with Payroll processing
- Setting up foreign payments
- VAT returns and other statutory returns
- Annual R&D claim
- Preparation of Management Information as requested
- Maintenance of Fixed Assets register
- Assisting Commercial Director
- HR and recruitment duties
Ideal candidate
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a responsible position within a Finance Team
- AAT/part CIMA qualified
- Knowledge of US financials is advantageous but not essential
- High attention to detail required
- HR experience would be a bonus
- Reliable, punctual and highly motivated
- Ability to multi-task
- Own transport essential due to rural location
- Proficient in Microsoft packages
