Arkonik has been established for over 13 years with facilities in the UK and N.America with sales internationally. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to join Arkonik HQ.

This is a Senior role within the company reporting directly to the Managing Director and Production Director.
Starting in our Quality Control Department, initially the role requires the review of all processes and procedures in this area, whilst overseeing the testing function of all completed vehicles prior to their shipment. The department will then be handed back to the QC Manager on his return from temporarily working at our US facility.
The role will then move onto the review and implementation of the relevant processes to cover the three different build strategies within our Production function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicating process changes to relevant staff and arranging training if required
  • Ensuring Health and Safety regulations are followed across the site
  • Recording and overseeing all R&D projects
  • Managing of teams as necessary
  • Reviewing program and manpower to ensure targets are met
  • Supporting the Managing Director / Executive team’s vision and process ideals
  • Working with employees to maintain morale and ensure they are being efficient
  • Supporting all functions of the business where required.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 5 years Management Experience in a fast-moving environment
  • Automotive build experience
  • Understanding of general Health and Safety obligations
  • Positive and forward-thinking attitude
  • Self-motivated.
