Meet Adam, our Assembly Manager and a valued member of the Arkonik team for over eight years.
At the heart of our business is the Assembly Department, where each build takes on its unique character. Adam plays a hands-on role in leading the team, overseeing the assembly of our bespoke Land Rover Defenders and ensuring every vehicle meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
By leading from the front, refining processes, and solving technical challenges on the workshop floor, Adam helps ensure every Defender leaves our workshop exceeding customer expectations and upholding Arkonik’s exacting standards.
Above and Beyond
In addition to his workshop responsibilities, Adam regularly travels internationally carrying out warranty and technical support work for customers, with assignments taking him as far afield as Hawaii and Canada. He also makes extended visits to our North American division, Arkonik SVO, in South Carolina where he assists with training, provides technical support, and helps to develop our US team’s assembly and build processes to ensure consistent quality across the business.

Stepping stones
Before joining the company, Adam worked as a Motorsport Technician for Fisher Sportscars, building and racing motorcycle-powered kit cars. He’s also worked in the arts and events industry, contributing to major music festivals including Glastonbury, and is credited as a Property Master on a film production. These varied experiences, combined with the fast-paced motorsport environment, taught him the importance of precision, quality, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving, skills that continue to benefit him in his role at Arkonik today.

Quality time
Outside of work, Adam’s main hobbies are motorcycling, working on his custom VW T4 lowrider, and music. He enjoys riding, attending automotive events, and developing vehicle projects, while music remains an important creative outlet and lifelong passion.

Favourite builds
“Some of my favourite builds include the B500 Beach Cruiser, our North American-Spec Defender 90 built for Battery Tender to showcase at SEMA, and a stunning yellow D90 currently in build for a high profile Saudi client, featuring a full panoramic roof. Each of these projects stands out for different reasons, whether it’s the unique specification, the level of craftsmanship involved, or the opportunity to create something truly special and memorable for the client.”
