Our Arkonik SVO team in Charleston, South Carolina, is seeking an Automotive Technician to support this growth. In this role, you’ll be involved in every aspect of electrical work throughout our vehicle modification and rebuild process.
Key responsibilities
- To install electrical items in high specification vehicles
- To build custom wiring looms
- To diagnose electrical faults and overcome challenges
- Other ad hoc jobs as requested
- Complete tasks by deadlines set
Ideal candidate
- Previous management/supervisory experience essential
- Automotive experience essential
- Knowledge of Land Rovers useful but not essential
- Ability to multi-task
- Highly organised
- Can work as part of a team or on own initiative without supervision
- High attention to detail required
- Reliable, punctual and highly motivated
- Experience with keyless entry, remote start, and security
- Experience with GPS tracking
- Knowledge and understanding electronic fuel injection
- Tuning experience not required but would be advantageous
- Wood and metal fabrication experience
- Upholstery experience
- Experience with wiring multi channel amplifiers
- Full understanding of relays and the ability to wire circuits from scratch
- Automotive and auto sport wiring tools.
Education & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or above.
