Beach Cruiser by Etienne Salomé
The wait is finally over and the order book is officially open. Designed by former Bugatti Designer Etienne Salomé, this is his take on the classic Land Rover ‘Beach Cruiser’. For Etienne, less is more and his design cues complement the classic V8 and manual transmission perfectly.
Exterior
The differences are subtle yet clean and redefined. With no exterior door handles or fuel filler cap, this Beach Cruiser is a unique build, number one of just five planned for production. Resplendent in classic Pennine Grey offset with satin black steel wheels. A unique front grille sports headlights housing internal indicators, contributing to a design that denote this Land Rover as something truly special to drive or admire.

Interior
The purposeful interior pays homage to Land Rovers of old. With three abreast in the cabin, occupants can experience back-to-basics motoring in its purest form. The driving experience is an analog and authentic affair with a bespoke rope-rimmed steering wheel providing the driver with immediate feedback.

Automobile designer Etienne Salomé, most famous for his time with Bugatti, including several automotive designs and his favourite, the one-of-one ‘La Voiture Noire’ is the creative behind our latest project.

The Bauhaus is a world-famous architecture style that was started in 1919, and one of its most important principles is minimalism. In this movement, artists celebrated linear and geometrical forms, avoiding floral or curvilinear shapes, illustrating the principle of form follows function.
I can personally imagine back in 1947 those principles must have been adopted when designing the first-ever Land Rover.”
