Summer Open Day 2022: Review

Summer Open Day 2022: Review

A record turnout

For the second year running, we saw a record number of visitors attend our UK HQ Open Day. The public were granted ‘access all areas’ to our workshops including our Paint / Panel shop, Assembly and Electrical departments. We had some of our team members on-hand to answer questions and furnish the visitors with their vast knowledge on all things Defender. We also proudly launched our new apparel; both the Signature tee and kids Tiger t-shirts proved a big hit with our visitors. Another firm favourite on the day was the complimentary sausage rolls on offer. Supplied by the award-winning Little Jack Horner who luckily for us happen to share the same postcode!

Adrenalin rush

No-one on the day got more smiles per hour than the passengers onboard our LS3 Defenders. It was lovely to see so many smiles, from Land Rover owners to kids and their grandparents. Everybody enjoyed the adrenaline rush and noise sensation orchestrated by our 430hp V8 engined Defenders.

It’s a small world

To coincide with the event, our Site Manager Luke built a miniature off-road course to showcase our Traxxas 1/10th scale Defenders. Complete with a water feature and numerous natural obstacles, it goes without saying that it proved to be a highly popular attraction with both young and old Land Rover fans. This installation is now a permanent feature and will be available for all clients to use when they come and visit us.
